I have been asked to give a reference on “Arc Engineering” who we worked with on our Charlestown Residential Project in Finglas which consisted of 375no apartment units within 6 buildings and each building was 6 stories in height..

At the initial design development stage of the project I was introduced to Arc Engineering with whom our company had worked with previously. Arc Eng: came on board to work with our Design Team to produce a prototype of a glazed balcony that we could incorporate within a full-size precast room structure that incorporated an open balcony area. ARC Engineering, one of Ireland’s leading Architectural Engineering firms has unveiled their new streamlined process balcony product – Perch SwiftFit Balconies.

With over 21 years’ experience in designing and manufacturing high spec architectural pieces, including balconies, for major development projects nationwide, the team at Arc Engineering recognised the need to simplify the process of producing and installing balconies.

With the primary goals of creating time savings and cost efficiencies, increasing convenience maximising safety on site whilst maintaining premium quality standards, the Perch SwiftFit Balconies system was developed. A focus on design ensures that Perch SwiftFit Balconies enhance the buildings they are installed on, as well as performing functionally to the highest levels.

The important difference between this and traditional systems is that these balconies are manufactured off-site, in the workshops of Arc Engineering, reducing the amount of people required on construction sites.

The Perch SwiftFit Balcony also achieves significant savings on the carbon footprint generated in a construction project, due to the reduction in logistics requirements.
