Arc Engineering will begin manufacturing 180 of their newly developed Perch SwiftFit balconies off-site in their Wexford based workshops early 2022 for the new Stillorgan Leisureplex Apartment Development.  The Perch SwiftFit Balconies are modular in design and manufactured offsite.  Main Contractors, John Paul Construction, have commenced on site to develop this 232 unit apartment complex which ranges in height from four to eight stories with an estimated construction duration of 2 years and construction cost in excess of €70m.

The off-site manufacture of balconies enables Arc Engineering to control the quality of the fully assembled finished balconies before they are freighted to site, where these are craned directly on to the cantilevered arms built in-situ to the building façade.  There are numerous benefits for Main Contractors whereby they require less on-site labour and no scaffolding making the installation safer and more cost efficient.
